Sophiko

Painting

Sophiko is the painting practice of Sofia Ali. Through animal symbolism, the artist explores human emotions and stories.

The ocean paintings shown here pair sweeping blue passages with rays, larger marine forms and dense schools of fish, bringing movement and stillness into the same field of colour.

Ocean Studies · Shoal

Schools of fish gather and turn around two larger marine forms. Layered blue marks create a flowing pattern across the textured canvas.

Background removed with AI from the supplied photograph. Ocean Studies and the panel labels are descriptive display titles; original titles, medium and dimensions have not been supplied.
